Psychological Hardiness Profile - Revised - Therapy Version

Psychological Hardiness Profile – Revised – Therapy Version

$49.50

Hardiness: an ability to adapt easily to unexpected changes combined with a sense of purpose in daily life and of personal control over what occurs in one’s life. A constellation of attitudes, beliefs, and behavioral tendencies that consist of three components: commitment, control, and challenge

Hardiness dampens the negative effects of stress and can be a protective factor against illness. See also resilience.

Psychological hardiness is a personality trait that positively affects individuals’ performance, health, and mood in stressful situations.

People who exhibit psychological hardiness develop coping strategies and skills that enable them to remain calm and focused during a crisis and move on without long-term negative consequences, including distress and anxiety.

Psychological hardiness assessments are important because they help to identify areas of strength and areas where improvement may be needed.
