Life Coaching Sessions

My husband and I were having trouble with our teen daughter and did not know where to start. After the first visit with Dr. Martin he gave us some very helpful tools that were easy to put into play. He also did some sort of assessment on Kailey and it was eye opening to see the report he typed up. It was like he knew exactly what was going on with our daughter and was able to see behind the closed walls she kept putting up.

I did a lot of research on available coaching, therapy, etc… Shiloh is extremely talented and has a special gift of helping others see the value in themselves. With practical solutions and thought provoking discussions, he is truly helping me turn my fears and uncertainty into determination! I am forever thankful for this experience!

Dr. Shiloh- I’ve been meaning to write and thank you for last week’s session. I realize you work very hard with my family every week but last week you gave us the gift of perspective, and it showed all week long. Something really clicked… So for the gift of perspective I thank you, and for the gift of having you in my family’s life.

My two girls have been seeing a therapist for several months. He has helped them with coping with divorce death and a move. He makes them feel at ease and has given them the confidence to stand up for themselves. Thank You Dr. Martin!

It has been a year of healing and reflection and I wanted to give you an update and thank you for helping me get the point where I had the strength to take my life into my own capable hands…..I had the ability and strength to take control of my own life and you helped me realize that. I now can do what I need to do for myself and my children. I was skeptical about treatment initially when this was suggested by a physician. However, I found Shiloh very easy to talk to and he has helped me so much to feel better and look after myself more. I have learned to be less perfectionist in thinking and to start looking after my own needs more, which was important to get better and reduce my stress.

I’ve been a single mother of 2 daughters for many years. One who went off to her first year of college in August and the other is currently in junior high. We have a history of debilitating losses and traumas. Our family unit dismantled as we’d known it when my daughter left for college and we were all overwhelmed with emotions, questions, confusion, grief of the known and fear of the unknown. Dr. Martin has tended to each of us in the way we needed as individuals. He has also met with my youngest daughter and I together and is currently helping us build a path to healing of our relationship and peace in our household. He is so kind, fair and wise and his direction has been life-changing for the 3 of us. New lenses to look through, a greater understanding of what we see and feel and how to cope with them. I could never thank him enough for such gifts! Highly, highly recommend!

I’m so thankful for the very helpful treatment I received. Before therapy I was extremely negative with myself, highly self-critical. I constantly worried about others not liking me and getting rejected, leading me to avoid many activities or ending up in tears going over what I had done wrong thereafter. I am now much more confident in myself and have useful techniques that help me be more kind with myself when the old self-doubt comes up, which it now rarely does. Doc Martin has really helped me work through my past issues understanding what I have been through is not my fault. seeing the unhelpful patterns I used to get into and teaching me many useful coping strategies. I can now mostly enjoy life , am in my first long term relationship, that feels really positive and stable and have also started a successful new career. I am very proud of how far I have come.

The sessions have helped me to let go of a bag of emotions I was carrying around which were a burden to me and hindering me from returning to work. I am now very calm and relaxed in the workplace, which is a massive improvement.
