Emotional Support Animal Evaluation

March 4, 2023 by Shiloh Martin, LPC-S, CCMHC

Struggling with Mental Health

Completing an emotional support animal evaluation can be a life-changing decision for many people struggling with mental health issues.

An emotional support animal can provide comfort, companionship, and unconditional love during difficult times. By taking the time to complete an evaluation, you can ensure that your animal is recognized as an emotional support animal, giving you some rights that you would not be afforded with a pet.

Additionally, completing an evaluation can help you understand the responsibilities that come with having an emotional support animal and ensure that you can provide the best possible care for your furry friend.

So if you’re considering getting an emotional support animal, take the time to complete the evaluation and reap the benefits of having a loyal companion by your side.

HABRI Certified

You revaluation will be completed by Dr. Shiloh Martin.

He is Human Animal Bond Certified” approved by the Human Animal Bond Research Institute (HABRI) and the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC). This gives him a unique insight into Human Animal Bond interactions.  It assists him in conducting forensic disability evaluations for Emotional Support Animals and Psychiatric Service Dogs evaluations required under Federal Housing Act and Americans with Disabilities Act.

When you complete the evaluation we can also talk about different mental health options that may be beneficial for you overall health and well-being.
