Fair Housing Act (FHA) Evaluation (ESA)

This forensic evaluation will be conducted to determine if you meet the criteria as a protected class under the FHA anti-discrimination act.  This evaluation is forensic in nature and not therapeutic.

A therapeutic assessment is conducted for the purpose of helping the person being assessed.

America Counselor Association prohibits providing counseling services for individuals which are being evaluated. (ACA Code of Ethics E.13 Forensic Evaluation: Evaluation for Legal Proceedings)

A forensic assessment is conducted solely to establish the facts in regards to the law.

Oklahoma requires forensic evaluations be conducted in a face to face format.  You must live in the Tulsa area to have this evaluation conducted in Oklahoma.

This is not an ongoing therapeutic/ counseling relationship and should not be viewed as such.

The report does not entitle you to the rights and privileges of a Service Animal.  Intentionally representing an animal as a “Psychiatric Service Animal” when it does not meet the legal requirement as one is illegal.  In some states this is a misdemeanor and in others, it is a felony.

This is not “registering” or “Certifying” your animal.

Emotional support animal registration and emotional support animal certification is not real.  You do not need a registration or certification to have an emotional support animal.
